Davin Youngs is a true musical innovator driven by his belief that singing, voice and sound are powerful tools for catalyzing change.

He is the creator of VOXUS, an experience that quickly and playfully brings corporate and professional groups into singing and improvised song. From Coca-Cola to Google to Chicago Public Schools, Davin is one today’s most sought after voices in leadership and professional development because of his innovative approach to helping individuals and groups find their voice and collective song. His interactive keynotes have been heard internationally, by audiences ranging from chief marketing officers to community organizers and Presbyterian clergy.

Locally, he hosts Chicago Circle Singing, a monthly community improvisational singing gathering for anyone and everyone who loves to sing.

What is VOXUS?

VOXUS is an interactive keynote where the whole audience sings together. Davin Youngs leads groups into improvised song within minutes, then uses that experience to explore voice, listening, and leadership. It's been presented at the World Business Forum at Lincoln Center, the Society for Neuroscience, and for clients including Google, Coca-Cola, JLL, and FINRA.

How long is a session?

Most sessions run 60 - 75 minutes. Extended 90-minute versions include more interaction from the whole team.

Do participants need to be able to sing?

No. VOXUS is built for people who say "I can't sing." There are no lyrics to learn and no solos required. Everything is created on the spot, and every voice belongs.

What sizes of groups work well?

VOXUS has been led with groups of 50 leaders and with audiences as large as 5,000. Preference is for groups of 35 or more.

Where does VOXUS fit in an event?

It works especially well as an opening keynote, setting the tone for everything after it. It also fits leadership retreats, team offsites, and conference general sessions.
